Hawamahal
History:- It was built by Raja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 AD. He was so inspired by the unique structure of the Khetri Mahal that he built this grand and historical place. It was designed by Lal Chand Ustad.
The unique five-storey exterior of this palace resembles a bee hive, with 953 small windows embellished with intricate latticework. The original purpose of the lattice design was to allow royal women to see everyday life and festivals.
This architectural feature allowed cold air to pass through the venturi effect, making the entire area more pleasant during high temperatures in summer. Entrance from the city palace to Hawa Mahal is through a royal door.
It opens into a large courtyard, with two-storeyed buildings on three sides, with Hawa Mahal on the east side. An archaeological museum is also located in this courtyard.
How to reach visitor:- Approximate driving distance between Jaipur Junction Railway Station and Hawa Mahal is 5.7 km.
You can reach this distance by taxi or local city bus. Local buses 10A mini, 1mini, 2mini, 9b mini, you can go by these buses. Apart from this, the distance from Jaipur Airport to Hawamahal is about 12 km.

City Palace
History:- City Palace was established as the city of Jaipur by Raja Sawai Jai SinghII, who moved his court from Amber to Jaipur in 1727. Jaipur is the current capital of the state of Rajasthan, and until 1949 the City Palace was the formal and administrative seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur.
The Palace was a patron of religious and cultural events as well as arts, commerce and industry. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, and remains home to the Jaipur royal family.
The palace has a museum which has a good collection of Rajasthani costumes and weapons from the Mughals and Rajputs. It also has carvings of swords of various sizes and shapes, many of which are embellished with medic works and gems and studded with magnificent sheaths.
The palace is also an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature carpets, paintings, royal decorations and rare astronomy masterpieces in Persian, Arabic, Latin and Sanskrit, acquired by Sawai Jai Singh II to study astronomy in detail.
For visitors :- Entry Charge:- There are various ticket options for the City Palace, depending on how much of it you want to see.
Prices start from 200 rupees for Indians and 700 rupees for foreigners. Museum Night tickets cost 1,000 rupees for foreigners and 500 rupees for Indians.
Hours: 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. And 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for night viewing.
Jantar Mantar
History:- It is a stone observatory which is the largest of the five observatories of Jai Singh. Its complex devices, its configuration and shape have been scientifically designed.

Jantar-Mantar is a collection of nineteen items of astronomical instruments built in 1734 by King Sawai Jai Singh II. This observatory was included in the UNESCO World Heritage in 2012.
This observatory is a living example of the achievements of astronomy in medieval India.

Nahargarh Fort
History:- Rajasthan is a fort city, there are forts and forts, one of them is the famous Nahargarh Fort which is a defense fort. The fort of Nahargarh is built atop the Aravalli ranges that surround Jaipur.
This fort was built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh II at the end of the Aravalli mountain range in 1734, and keeping in view the security of the Amber Fort.

Jaigarh Fort
History:- Jaigarh Durg is a fort built on the upper side of Mavta Lake in the Aravalli ranges. This fort was built by Raja Jai Singh in 1667 AD to protect the Amer fort and the palace complex. It is also known as victory Fort.
Built 500 meters in height, red sandstone was used in its construction. The world's largest cannon is kept here, which is named Jaibaan Cannon.
This cannon is located at the fort of Jaigarh in Jaipur. Its construction period: 1720 AD, its firepower: 22 miles. This cannon was built by Jaisingh II in 1720 at Jaigad Fort during the reign of Mughal Emperor Mohammad Shah.

Albert Hall
History:- Albert Hall is the oldest museum in Rajasthan. The museum is located in front of the new gate of the City wall. It is a building built in "Indo-Arabic style", the building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob with the help of Mir Tujumul Hosin.
It was first opened in 1887 as a public museum. It is named after Albert Edward VII, whose foundation stone was laid on 6 February 1876, during his visit to the city as Prince of Wales.
Maharaja Ram Singh initially wanted the building to be a town hall, but his successor Madhosingh II decided to include it as a museum for the art of Jaipur and as part of the new Ram Niwas garden.

Amer Fort
History:- Amer is a suburb located in the border of Jaipur, inhabited by Raja Allan Singh, the town has been in existence since at least 967 AD before being conquered by the Kachwaha dynasty of the Rajput caste in 1037 AD.
Amer Fort and temples are unique examples of Rajput art. The famous fort here still attracts producers of historical films for shooting. Artistic paintings were made on the walls here, and it is said that the Mughal emperor Jahangir became very angry with the art of those artisans, and so he covered them with plaster.
These paintings are now visible due to the gradual decline of the plaster. In addition, the Sheesh Mahal with the world famous Forty Pillars, where only a few lamps are lit, reflections of glass illuminate the entire room.

Galta ji Temple (Monkey Temple)
Galtaji Temple is located only 10 km from Jaipur. The temple complex consists of natural fresh water spring and 7 sacred pools. A spring of pure water flows from the 'Gaumukh', a tank shaped like a cow's head.
A magnificent structure, pink sandstone has been used to build this temple. This temple is also famous for Bandro. Religious hymns and mantras, combined with the natural setting, provide a peaceful environment for anyone visiting there.
It is believed that Saint Galav performed his austerities for 100 years of his life. Pleased with his austerity, the gods appeared before him and blessed his place of worship with abundant water.
To honor this great 'sage', a temple was built and it was named after him. The temple is situated in the Aravalli hills and is surrounded by dense trees and shrubs.
This magnificent building is adorned with painted walls, roofs and pillars rounded. Apart from this, the temples of Lord Rama, Lord Krishna and Lord Hanuman are located here within the temple complex.

Jal mahal
History:- This fort is situated in the womb of the Aravalli hills and in the middle of the Manasagar lake. This palace was built by Sawai Jai Singh after Ashwamedha Yagya.
Prior to the construction of this palace, Jai Singh had constructed a dam on the gestational river for the water supply of Jaipur and constructed the Manasagar Lake.
The palace, like medieval palaces, is a building constructed in the form of a double-storied and square with arches, bastions, canopies and step-step genes.
Jal Mahal is now also developing as a bird sanctuary. The nursery here has more than 1 lakh trees, where the tallest trees of Rajasthan are found. The specialty of this palace is that this palace, situated amidst the hot desert, did not feel warm, because many of its floors were built under water. The view of this palace in the lake water in the moonlight night is very attractive.

Johari Bazar:- If you are in Jaipur, you can never return without shopping for some traditional Rajasthani items here. Famous as the Pink City, Jaipur is also reputed for its jewelery making, Johari Bazaar should be an ideal location for every jewelery.
Located near Hawa Mahal in Jaipur, Johari Bazaar is famous for its precious stones, especially diamonds, topaz and emeralds. It is a large-scale exhibition of attractive stones. Apart from shopping, Johri Bazaar makes the cultural existence of Jaipur city feel.
Bapu Bazar:- Bapu Bazaar is located in the city center of Jaipur. The market has made itself a major shopping destination with the availability of various Rajasthani products. The variety of Rajasthani products available in the market attracts a large number of travelers.
One can buy a large number of traditional Rajasthani products from textiles, perfumes, products made from camel skin and many other products. Rajasthani mojari shoes are mainly sold in Bapu Bazaar.
Coming with embroidery patterns, these shoes are preferred by many tourists. Apart from Mojri shoes, various handicraft products available in Bapu market along with sandstone and marble products enhance the lifestyle of Rajasthan state. In fact handicrafts are the best monuments one can buy from this famous market.
